At Martin Methodist, we want to embrace the community of Giles County. We appreciate the support we receive and in turn, would like to give back! We offer cultural activities such as the Della Clayton Lee events, activities for children in the summer, a local movie theater, a clinic, and a great health club facility which includes a cardio room, a pool, weight room, and an indoor walking track. So come by and see what Martin has to offer!

Since then, the Barton Gallery has hosted many exciting shows, such as the NASA Collection of Space Art; We Shall not be Moved – a civil rights exhibit from the Tennessee State Museum; and a show from the Smithsonian Institution, entitled: Indivisibles, which addresses the connections between Native Americans and African Americans. We have also shown local artists’ work and that of various artists from around the globe. Gallery Hours: 10 am to 5 pm weekdays (closed during school breaks.)
Art Classes
While a Visual Arts Major is not presently offered, students enjoy a variety of art courses, such as: Ceramics, Painting, Drawing, 2- & 3-Dimensional Design, Photography, and Computer Arts. These courses are open to the public, as well as home-schooled and public High School students seeking dual enrollment.
